متن کاملEnhanced Microwave Absorption Properties of α-Fe₂O₃-Filled Ordered Mesoporous Carbon Nanorods.
A novel kind of α-Fe₂O₃-filled ordered mesoporous carbon nanorods has been synthesized by a facial hydrothermal method. Compared with dendritic α-Fe₂O₃ micropines, both a broader effective absorption range-from 10.5 GHz to 16.5 GHz with reflection loss (RL) less than -10 dB-and a thinner matching thickness of 2.0 mm have been achieved in the frequency range 2-18 GHz. The enhanced microwave abso...
متن کاملSpin - resolved photoelectron spectroscopy of Fe 3 O 4 q
Spin-polarized photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to study the candidate half metal Fe3O4. By using higher photon energies we can study polarization in ‘‘as received’’ samples, essentially ‘‘looking through’’ the disrupted surface. Our data agree with theoretical calculations for Fe3O4 but exhibit a lowered polarization. ! 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
متن کاملNano Fe 3 O 4 - Activated Carbon Composites for Aqueous Supercapacitors
In this study, a symmetric supercapacitor has been fabricated by adopting the nanostructured iron oxide (Fe3O4)-activated carbon (AC) composite as the core electrode materials. The composite electrodes were prepared via a facile mechanical mixing process and PTFE polymeric solution has been used as the electrode material binder. Structural analysis of the nanocomposite electrodes were character...
متن کاملA facile method to fabricate carbon-encapsulated Fe(3)O(4) core/shell composites.
One-step synthesis of carbon-encapsulated Fe(3)O(4) core/shell composites is reported. The Fe(3)O(4) cores were formed via the reduction of Fe(3+) by glucose under alkaline conditions obtained by the decomposition of urea. The amorphous carbon shells were carbonized from glucose. A possible formation mechanism for the Fe(3)O(4)@C composite was discussed. In order to characterize these Fe(3)O(4)...
